One key.
Every door.
Rekeys, locks, lockouts
Homes, rentals and small offices. If rekeying your existing locks is the smarter spend, John will say so before quoting anything bigger.
All service detailsRekeying
New pins in the locks you already own. One key for every door, old keys dead.
Lock Replacement
Worn or failing locks swapped for hardware that turns cleanly and lines up with the strike.
Deadbolt Installation
New deadbolts bored, aligned and tested so the bolt throws all the way with no push on the door.
Door Handles and Hardware
Full entry handlesets, loose knobs, sagging strikes and split jambs sorted out in one visit.
House Lockout
Locked out with no spare. John opens the door without wrecking the lock or the frame.
Car Lockout
Keys shut in the car. Opened on site, including the weekend calls other shops let ring.
Office and Commercial Locks
Storefront and suite doors, staff turnover rekeys, master key setups and panic hardware.
Keypad and Smart Locks
Keypad and app controlled locks fitted properly, codes set up, mechanical backup checked.
Keys Cut and Duplicated
Spares cut and tested in the lock, not just handed over. Bad copies come back to bite you.
Lock Repair and Tune Up
Sticky cylinders, stiff deadbolts and doors you have to shoulder. Usually a repair, not a purchase.
You get the locksmith, not a dispatcher.
Same number, same face, 20 years. No call center quoting you one price and a stranger arriving with another.
A lot of calls end up cheaper than people expect. Plenty of stiff deadbolts are a strike plate problem, not a new lock.

What the work looks like

Before and after
A resale house with a tarnished knob, a mismatched deadbolt and one key that opened neither reliably. Both replaced, both on the same key.

Google reviews going back more than ten years, all five stars. The word that keeps coming up is meticulous.
Read all reviewsSuper friendly, fast, and efficient ! John switched out a faulty lock of ours and triple checked to make sure everything was working properly. I highly recommend him !

John came to my house and replaced three locks, one of which was an entire front door handle assembly that needed to be switched out for a new one. He was very friendly and accommodating, and his prices were beyond fair. I highly recommend him.

I contacted TW Locksmith to add some deadbolts to 2 doors. John did an awesome job. He showed up on time and he was meticulous in his work. He made sure that my deadbolts were silky smooth and that they were installed perfectly. I would highly recommend him!

Manassas and out from there
Prince William and Fairfax County, from Old Town Manassas out to Haymarket and across to Woodbridge. Call with your address and John will confirm it on the phone.
What areas does TW Locksmith Services cover?
Manassas, Manassas Park, Gainesville, Bristow, Haymarket, Centreville, Woodbridge and Fairfax. Call with your address and John will confirm on the phone.
Should I rekey or replace my locks?
If the locks are in good shape, rekeying is cheaper and just as secure. If they are worn, mismatched or low grade, replacing is the better spend. John tells you which one you are looking at before any work starts.
Can all my doors work on one key?
Usually yes. Front, back, garage entry and a workshop can be keyed alike so you carry one key instead of four.
Who shows up at my door?
John. Same phone number, same locksmith, 20 years of it. No dispatch center and no rotating subcontractors.
I am locked out right now. What do I do?
Call (703) 981-3050 and describe where you are. John will tell you honestly how soon he can get there instead of promising a time he cannot hold.
Do you open cars?
Yes. Keys shut inside a car is one of the most common calls, including weekends.
We just bought a house. What should we do first?
Rekey every exterior door before you move a single box in. You have no idea how many keys are still out there from the previous owner, the agent and the contractors.
Do you work with landlords and property managers?
Yes. Turnover rekeys on rentals and offices are regular work, and units can be keyed to a master.
Do you install keypad and smart locks?
Yes, and John checks the mechanical side too. A smart lock on a misaligned door is still a door that jams.
Tell us what the lock is doing.
Send a few details or call and describe it. John will tell you what it needs and what it costs before he picks up a tool.
(703) 981-3050Call or text to schedule. Lockouts handled as soon as John can get there.
